The President of the National Digital Assets Commission, Juan Carlos Reyes García participated as part of the panelists in the “Adopting Bitcoin” event held in San Salvador from November 7 to 11, 2023, in the Panel moderated by Jesse Knutson, Head of Bitfinex Securities operations called “ BFXS – A New Capital Markets Ecosystem”, which also had the participation of Björn Schmidtke, CEO of Penguin Group; Michele Crivelli, partner at a wealth management firm in Switzerland, and Tim Aron, Head of Compliance at Bitfinex Securities.

During the panel, different topics were discused, such as El Salvador’s strategy for the issuance of Digital Assets, as well as the challenges and opportunities presented by the tokenization of securities from the perspective of the members of this new Capital Markets Ecosystem.
