Technical Specialist in Crypto

Academic Background:

  • Student, graduate, or holder of a degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree in Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Cybersecurity, or related fields is desirable.

Skills:

  • Practical understanding of the technology and economic components of cryptocurrencies and digital assets, with the ability to apply this knowledge in operational and support tasks.
  • Familiarity with basic principles of digital and network security, sufficient to assist in implementing security measures.
  • Knowledge of basic measures and protocols to prevent illicit activities associated with cryptocurrencies, supporting the implementation of security practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge in assessing technological risks associated with cryptocurrency and blockchain operations, and skills to implement mitigation strategies and regulatory compliance.

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in Distributed Ledger Technology is desirable.
  • 2 years of experience in the technology industry, Fintech, or related fields.

Main Functions:

a) Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to code, programs, and other blockchain-related technologies.
b) Assist in the technical evaluation of projects and regulated entities operating within the digital asset framework.
c) Collaborate on research into new trends and technological advances in the blockchain and digital asset field.
d) Provide technical support to the Crypto Specialist in formulating policies and regulations.
e) Prepare technical reports and presentations to facilitate understanding of complex projects for other CNAD members.
f) Participate in meetings and seminars, representing the department when necessary.
g) Collaborate in implementing security measures to protect digital assets and prevent potential vulnerabilities.
h) Participate in the review and supervision of digital asset and stablecoin issuances.
