The pursuit of excellence in the training and technical specialization of the staff at the National Commission of Digital Assets (CNAD) is a key objective for its president, Juan Carlos Reyes. This goal is being advanced through enrollment in the specialized Postgraduate program in Crypto, Blockchain, and Decentralized Finance, which began classes on Thursday, June 27.
Offered online by Argentina’s UCEMA University, enrollment in this program has been made possible as an initiative of the CNAD President, who is committed to continuous learning and improvement. This initiative aims to enhance the professional capabilities of the CNAD team and to develop a specialized team with the best possible expertise.
Spanning eight months, this unique Postgraduate program in Latin America will provide CNAD professionals with comprehensive training in the main topics of Crypto, Blockchain & Decentralized Finance, which impact the economy and finances of individuals and organizations.
The Postgraduate program in Crypto, Blockchain, and Decentralized Finance will equip participants with tools to understand how the technology and economy function and to make strategic decisions in the new paradigm of global finance. Participants will gain extensive knowledge of the practical functioning of crypto and blockchain tools, identifying the economic organization and financial logic behind these tools.
Some of its objectives include achieving a comprehensive understanding of the crypto economy for strategic decision-making, understanding the functioning and utilization of Blockchain technologies and distributed ledger systems, and developing a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates technology, finance, economy, and regulation for rapid detection of opportunities and improvements.
The program will cover topics such as an introduction to cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology, Bitcoin philosophy and decentralization, Ethereum, tax and regulatory conditions, strategic evaluation of the DeFi future, Sidechains and L2s, crypto-based technological innovation, trading, and a final integrative project to assess the acquired knowledge and its application potential.
Towards Continuous Professional Improvement
The President of CNAD emphasized the importance of the CNAD professional team always aiming for professional improvement by participating in such programs. Therefore, he established an agreement with UCEMA to obtain this postgraduate program in Crypto. UCEMA is located in Buenos Aires and has been training leaders for the business, political, and academic world for four decades.
As a lifelong learning enthusiast, President Reyes leads by example, holding degrees in computing, physics, and mathematics, a Master’s in Management from Harvard University, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics in Russia. He takes the continuous professional improvement of the staff very seriously to strengthen the regulatory and supervisory capabilities of the Commission.
According to the schedule, CNAD professionals are expected to graduate as specialists in Crypto, Blockchain, and Decentralized Finance by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
