On June 14, César Córdova, Propietary Director of the National Commission of Digital Assets (CNAD) of El Salvador, attended the Expobienes Conference in Guatemala City. He was invited to give a presentation on the Digital Assets Law (LEAD), highlighting its essential features and significant benefits for real estate developers. The law enables a new, efficient, and accessible means to secure financing and verify ownership through the tokenization of real-world assets.
During his presentation, the Director showcased specific projects currently on the market, capturing the audience’s attention. He also took the opportunity to engage with several interested real estate developers, emphasizing how integrating digital asset strategies can benefit and transform their projects. Additionally, he highlighted that the Digital Assets Law, in effect since 2023, provides a solid legal framework that not only ensures the security of digital transactions but also promotes innovation in the real estate sector.
The law allows many developers to access new forms of financing and secure property more efficiently, revolutionizing the real estate market in El Salvador and the region.
