Government of El Salvador Shares Its Successful Digital Assets Strategy at the Dutch Blockchain Summit

The Government of El Salvador participated in the Dutch Blockchain Summit last June through the participation of Juan Carlos Reyes, showcasing how the country has become a leading jurisdiction in secure, innovative, and user-focused digital asset regulation.

The Netherlands, June 22–28, 2026. Recognized as one of the world’s most important international events on blockchain technology and digital finance, the summit brought together industry leaders, innovators, investors, and policymakers from around the globe.

El Salvador was represented by the National Commission of Digital Assets (CNAD). During the event, the Commission’s President, Juan Carlos Reyes, took the main stage to address experts, investors, and global leaders in the digital asset industry.

In his keynote presentation, “Global Adoption: From Experiment to National Strategy,” President Reyes explained how El Salvador evolved from becoming the first country to take a bold step toward digital asset adoption to establishing a comprehensive, secure, and well-structured national policy.

A Global Ambassador for Effective Regulation: From El Salvador to the World

The purpose of these international engagements is to share El Salvador’s experience with other nations and organizations. Through the CNAD, the country seeks to promote technological innovation not only within its own borders but also by contributing to the growth and strengthening of the global digital assets ecosystem.

At this summit, El Salvador reaffirmed through its experience that the public policies implemented by the Government are delivering tangible results, fostering an environment of trust and confidence for technological investment.
